a day on the couch (and off my foot)

when i woke up this morning and could barely walk, drew made me promise to stay off my foot all day, to let it heal.  although it was hard, and i did absolutely nothing productive all day (i read, played a computer game, and watched some star trek), it did seem to help, and it has been feeling better all evening.
