We got J a nice coat that actually fits at a clearance sale. We got it big in the hopes it fits him this coming winter :) He wouldn't stand still got get a good picture of just how big it ended up being
When we first went out, it was sunny and warm, with no clouds on the horizon. by the time we walked the 10 minutes to the park, it was cloudy, chilly, windy and not much fun to be out. We didn't stay too long at the park, since J didn't have a super heavy coat on, and was getting cold.
Bonnie Jean recently sent us a box of pajamas, and in there was a marble run. J found it, and of course begged to put it together and play with it. Drew was able to get it put together a lot better than I was, and we had some fun with it for a bit.
J loves to play with our draft stopper (which makes me kind of glad it's getting warmer, and so at the current time it isn't as necessary) today he decided to push it around in the hallway, after walking with it between his legs like one of those stick horses.
I don't know why, but J decided he really, REALLY wanted to sit in the bin full of toys. I've been in the process of boxing up some of the to young for him anymore toys (even though he insists that he wants to play with them, most every day. He really doesn't. He just looks at it and throws it on the floor never to touch it again), and I think that sparked the interest in the bin.
I've been using some of my yarn to make hats. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to donate them to the ward for the ladies who have babies, or if I'm going to donate them to the hospital. Maybe I'll end up doing some of both?
I spent some time today cutting out pieces for another quiet book page. I've been doing a lot of pre-cutting and not much assembly recently, since quite a few of the pages I have left will require an actual sewing machine, and not just some hot glue. I've thought about borrowing one, but don't want to do that until I know I have everything ready to go. hopefully that will be within the next few days.
it was super warm and sunny today, so we went to the park for a bit this afternoon. J enjoyed getting out of the house, and I was enjoying the warmer weather. We both ended up with wet feet at the end, but it was so worth it.
today we got out some cotton balls and enjoyed blowing them around the table. and watching how they moved. J also discovered that if he got enough spit on his chin, the cotton balls would stick to him, and he thought that was hilarious :)
