a couple weeks back, I posted a picture of the street, where they were taking down all the houses. Instead of building apartments like we thought they were supposed to be doing, they covered it all in grass. We are kind of confused about why.
This is a new game we've started playing at Game night every Sunday. Its kind of fun. I've been told it is like Ticket to Ride (though I've never played it, so I have no idea). You build train tracks, and take shipments from certain places to different places and get paid for it.
Our ward organist has moved. this leaves two of us in the ward who can play the organ. The other girl who had been playing is on a trip these next two weeks, which means I get to go back at it. My carefully guarded secret that I could play (I really didn't want to be stuck back at the organ for another long while) is now out in the open.
More of the construction happening around Rexburg, and specifically around our house. I don't know if you can see the construction stuff at the top of the street, but that's how far this sidewalk isn't there any more. It took out our normal route to campus, so we get to go on a more roundabout route now.
I had jury duty today. I had been even chosen to be one of the first initial jurors. Unfortunately, after all the questions, one of the attorneys decided that he didn't like me, and I didn't get to stay for the whole thing. I was kind of disappointed. It would have been a free day off work for an interesting cause.
The road here is completely gone, and the machines seem to be taking up the whole road. I feel sorry for the residents who live on this street, and wonder how they can get cars in and out, since the machinery does seem to take up the whole road. but no wonder our air is so dusty, what with all the construction going on EVERY where!
