This is all the Tupperware that was left at Drew's work over the week. I visited him for dinner (so the one with the orange lid, and the small square one are technically from tonight), and we brought it all home. I had been wondering where some of it had gotten to, but thought it must still be in the fridge with leftovers.
thanks to Honda, we get a new blanket that I wouldn't mind keeping in our 72 hour kit. It's fairly good sized, with waterproof stuff on one side, and fleecy on the other (i think i heard the official name is a "stadium blanket", though I'm not sure why...) and folds up nice and small, with a handy carrying strap!
Before.... super gross.... I don't know the last time it was cleaned. that's how gross it is. By the way, did you know that the top of the stove can lift up? I had no idea! this was an amazing discovery to me.
After....Much better! I was so impressed by a vinegar and Baking soda paste. I did two consistencies and learned that a thicker paste works a lot better than a thinner one. but both work fairly well.
I was supposed to work until 10pm tonight, and we were planning on having our dinner in the break room of work (like we do every other day). instead, we got off work shortly after Drew brought dinner, so we were able to have dinner in the park instead. it was very nice, and we both enjoyed the sunshine.
We've been contemplating listing our car, and finding a car with four doors, and better gas mileage. I started cleaning it out so we could take pictures. all this was taken out of the car, with more to come. In this pile is (feel free to laugh at this):
-a walking stick
-drill bits (with no drill in the car)
-Three different kinds of pens, and a sharpie
-two different sunglasses (both for Drew)
-about 5 different pairs of gloves
-push in the lawn solar lights
-Members Guide to Family History book
-toothbrush and two types of toothpaste
-needle and thread
