I left for Utah for the weekend at 3:30 in the morning. One advantage to tis is that I got to see the sunrise. I'm not exactly sure where this is (I want to say around the Logan/Tremonton area of Utah, but I fell asleep on the way down, so It could even still be in Idaho for all I know. But I'm fairly certain it was Utah)
the funny part about this picture, is that in this picture, it is sunny, with no showings of anything but a calm spring day. earlier in the afternoon, we had a blizzard come through. Love the weather in Rexburg
I also had a few other random happenings toady, see pictures of them here
for one of my classes, we had a bunch of fifth graders come and we got to do activities with them for an hour and a half. It felt a lot longer than i was expecting it to. this is one of the games we played.
also, at work, we have a room for people to take tests in that has some quiet music playing. it is the same CD playing over and over and over, and tonight i finally found out what it was. I love the music, and wish i wasn't trying to save money, so i could get a copy of it. go here for a sample of the music
I am taking an outdoor cooking class. It is a four hour class. we were outside for all four hours. i am no in a higher evelvation than i have been for the last 2 years without a coat. any surprise i burned?
also, in Wilderness First Aid, we were learning CPR. we learned that we need to do our 30 compressions to the beat of this song. Maybe this will help one day when any of y'all need to do CPR :) addtionally, we were walking back from devotional today, and saw this backpack. it made us laugh.
I felt in a crafty mood tonight. I made this headband (seen better here), and then the flower clip next to it. I'm looking for someone to donate the headband to, so if anyone would like it, or knows someone who would like it, let me know.
My teacher decided to drop this nice little present on us today. Any and all examples she showed us for this were at LEAST 30 pages long. It's due in 2.5 weeks. It's all purely research (and I haven't done any sort of real research in about 3 years) Can I freak out now?
