Just remembering how annoyed I've been at my night temple shots being blurry- though I'm impressed at how sturdy your hand seems to have been for this one- if someone were to possibly offer you a small tripod that they weren't using anymore (which is not terribly sturdy but small and light enough to stash in a hip pack or backpack), would you be able to get use out of it?

I think I might, yes. Then if I plan on going out and taking night pictuers (which I plan on more of) it would help them be sturdy. :)
