At Bever Dick Park

We went to Bever dick today to unofficially reserve a camping spot for family coming up. We enjoyed playing in the river that runs right next to it for a little while.

Swan Valley

We had our ward camp-out in this area.  This picture doesn't do it justice, and I forgot to take one before we left. We also didn't stay as long as we had planned due to weather and my hurting/not being able to walk as well as planned. so you get this horrible picture taken from the car.

Snow

Taken in Ashton, Idaho> It's a horrible, picture I'm sorry.  It didn't look blurry when i took it.  You can't see it here, but we there was probably about half a foot of snow... the most we've seen all winter.  sadly, as we got closer to Rexburg, there got to be less on the ground, maybe only 3 or 4 inches, but still more than we've seen all winter.

Unexpected trip to Payette

Drew unexpectedly got the day off today (problems at work, not his choosing), so we decided to take a trip to Payette and see his family. one of my favorite parts of the trip is seeing all the windmills on the way there

Menan Buttes

The Menan Buttes are old volcanoes, and so for a class trip (in the middle of finals, it felt so good to get outside :)) we climbed to the top. This is inside the crator. Yes, I know it doesn't look all that impressive, but of course, you can't get on film what you can get in person. If ever anyone wants to go out there and hike up it, I would completely reccomend it. It was a lot of fun

Drive to Herriman

For class today, we went up to Herriman State Park, to learn about environmental interpretation (and to learn how to ski. Trust me, I got the bruises to show it. I was all set to get some pretty picture of the trumpeter swans they have, or some pretty landscape shot. But, I forgot to charge the batteries. So as I pulled out my camera to take some said shot, it told me that it was dead. So, this is the only picture I was able to take today. Definately not a favourite, but it isn't horrible either.
