New camera

Drew found a new camera at the thrift store, and we tried it out some tonight. The only pictures that got taken tonight.

family walk

We found a cool trail by our house, and decided to go exploring as a family tonight. It was nice to get out and walk as a family for a while :) We discovered it goes almost all the way to our church. 

New house!!

We offically got the keys and were able to move some stuff into our new house tonight! It's been super exciting! J loved all the room, and loved being able to run around and see his "new house" We're excited to be able to move tomorrow and finally have our own place.

Drew has always had quite the collection of mice. I didn't realize that so many of them had come out of storage while living at my parents house until I was picking them all up to do some vacuuming and packing.

We finally got everything we needed to get Drew his new drivers licence. These cool pictures were hanging from the ceiling.

Happy Birthday!

Today is Drew's birthday! We celebrated with this very tasty lemon almond cake. :) 

Happy Birthday!

It's Drew's birthday, so we went out somewhere exciting to have a combined anniversary and birthday lunch. Since we were moving that day, we didn't have a chance to do anything for our anniversary. Happy 5 years of marriage, and 29 years of life Drew! These burgers, by the way, are amazing. Probably a heart attack on a plate, but SOOOO good! 

Valentine's day

New hat

Drew lost his hat up on campus, and since it isn't showing up in lost and found, it's time for a new hat. This was the only one we found that was "acceptable" and so we took a picture just to make sure it would work

We had a lunch date, then went with Drew to work for a bit. He needed to clean out a storage closet they were loosing which was full of computers for surplus. J enjoyed being able to help out a bit

Drew has a spare desktop that he's been wanting to sell. He took pictures today of the parts to be able to make an ad for it.

Date Night

A good friend sent us a visa gift card in the mail for Christmas. We had a conversation that went something like this
Drew: So, should we buy test strips for it? Maybe pay rent?
Me: Well, I guess we could be responsible with it. Or I was thinking we could be not so responsible with it and use it to go see the new Star Wars.
Drew: I like your idea better. Lets do that.

So we had a much needed date night. and it was great.

Drew had to do some homework while we were on vacation. It was the only picture that got taken today.

block structure

No game night tonight, so we played with blocks instead. Drew make this cool structure out of the blocks. It got knocked down right after the picture was taken :)
