Dinosaur park celebration

We went to the Dinosaur park tonight to celebrate J's as well as cousin's T and L's birthday. We all had a lot of fun, and J loved to run around and look at the dinosaurs (for 2.5 seconds each :) ) 

Super J

J found a dish towel, and begged me to put it on him like a cape. He didn't want to take it off all day, not even for bed. He loved running around the park with it, and pretending to be Super J! 

Lego guy party

J wanted me to build a house for him, then the Lego guys had a party in there, complete with hats and cake. It was very cute :) 

Bad News

I had a dentist appointment today, and this was the outcome. One deep cleaning required, and 5 fillings. Ouch, this is going to hurt :( 

Rolling out dough

We were making pizza crusts, and sometimes Drew likes a really thin crust made with our noodle maker. So we tried it again today. J LOVED helping to roll out all the dough :) 

Hot dog eating

if you can see it, yes, he is using two forks, one in front of the other, to eat his hot dog. 

Graduation

we went to graduation for this wonderful lady today. J didn't much care for the actual graduation ceremony, and I have to admit, I don't remember my graduation feeling that long. But it was great to be able to get out and support Miss R. :) 

Freedom in Winco

J LOVED having a little basket he could pull through the grocery store for us. And, it actually helped him to stay within site of me, which is a huge problem we've been having if he's out of the cart. 

life size M&M

We had to run to a new store for some forgotten groceries (on bike!) and walked by these M&M's that were as big as J. He thought they were pretty amazing, and stopped to look at them for quite a while.

Helping to vacuum

We were doing some vacuuming on the stairs and in the basement where we've been staying, and J wanted to help. He loved being able to use this little vacuum to help with the stairs. 

Happy Birthday!

Today is Drew's birthday! We celebrated with this very tasty lemon almond cake. :) 

Happy Birthday!

It's Drew's birthday, so we went out somewhere exciting to have a combined anniversary and birthday lunch. Since we were moving that day, we didn't have a chance to do anything for our anniversary. Happy 5 years of marriage, and 29 years of life Drew! These burgers, by the way, are amazing. Probably a heart attack on a plate, but SOOOO good! 

Insurance

We got to be grownups today, and figure out our insurance situation. We found an insurance broker, thanks to my parents, and she worked with us to find a great deal. Come to find out, the deal through Drew's work, terrible. We'll go with someone else, thanks.

Removing crayon

I took a picture today to get some opinions on what to do about removing crayon from this shirt - cape, thing. None of the ideas presented really worked, so we ended up just tossing, especially since J doesn't much like this part of the shirt anyhow. 

Sliding!

Even though it was still fairly chilly out, we put on some jackets and went to the park. We discovered that J no longer loves the swings (and got really upset whenever he tried even just sitting on it not moving) but he now LOVES the big slides he wouldn't touch last year. We had a blast going down this huge twisty slide :)

We finally had a sunny (If freezing cold) day, so we took J's bike outside for a ride. It was a lot of fun.
