First sticking snow of the year. J was walking up to campus with me so that I could practice. He enjoyed walking through the snow. Even touching it once. 

Glitter

I've been wanting to paint and glitter some pine-cones for a new winter season decoration. We happened to find some paint in some discarded buckets so now all we needed was some glitter. 

Wearing mom's hat

It's been snowy the last couple days, so I've been wearing a hat as we go out and about (to the library and such) J apparently really likes this hat, because he kept wearing it around the house today. This was the best picture I got of him wearing it.

We got some much needed snow today. It made having to send my sandals off yesterday that much better.

I realized that I never got a picture of the finished product of our snowman. So here he is.

These white balls are eventually going to be put together into a snowman. In the meantime, J loves carrying them around and snuggling them as much as possible. this poor snowman had better be up for some rough lovings from a small boy!

J wore these boots (two sizes to big for him) for most of the morning around the house.

i made myself a warm new scarf! in hindsight, I should have made it a LOT shorter (i think it almost reached to my knees when not wrapped around), and used a different stitch, but it will be great for bundling up in the freezing cold.

It's been freezing cold out so we haven't gone any walks. I really needed to get out of the house, so we bundled up and headed out.

after a ginormous snowfall, the city actually plowed the roads. they put all the snow as a median in the road :)
