Heading home

J  loved getting to run around with Rachel over the last few days while they were visiting. He's going to miss having them all around.

Craters of the Moon

We went to Craters of the Moon National Park with Mom, Dad, and Rachel today. I Loved getting out and seeing a national park and somewhere new. J enjoyed being out in nature and some running around. It was an awesome place and I'm glad I got to go. I just wish we would have had more time to look around.

sideways picture

we were supposed to go to the ward campout tonight, but between J not sleeping and Drew not feeling so great, we decided not to go. so, I blew up the air mattress, and Drew and I "camped out" in the living room. J was excited to crawl around on the air mattress when he got up in the morning, and had a lot of fun with it.

Swan Valley

We had our ward camp-out in this area.  This picture doesn't do it justice, and I forgot to take one before we left. We also didn't stay as long as we had planned due to weather and my hurting/not being able to walk as well as planned. so you get this horrible picture taken from the car.

Dragon's Mouth Spring

It does actually sound like a dragon could be living in there, it's rather cool.  Some dad was teasing his kid about not seeing the dragon.
"Did you see the dragon?"
"No, was it real?"
"Yep, I got a picture of it"
"Dad!!  We HAVE to go back! Come on Dad!  Dad! Dad! Come on Dad!"

finished!

this is the finished new bag. it looks like it should even be big enough to hold the tarp for underneath (whenever we actually get it). i'll also need to add the carrying handle at some point, but for now, i'm pleased with the finished product :)

new bag

our tent bag is falling apart, and way too small to hold the tent once it has been unrolled and used even once. i'm going to take this old pair of pants and old tent bag and turn it into something new.
