We found a tennis ball in the tennis court last time J wanted to come run around. So today, I brought a ball specifically so we could bring it back home with us. J loved being able to throw it around and chase it :)

We went and got some fabric for my Halloween costume tonight. I'm starting to get excited about this.

More homework

Apparently Drew's pictures of homework is all that was taken today. 

Kill the Giant

I don't remember the actual name of this game, but it was a lot of fun. We killed off giants, and got victory points based on how well we did. It was pretty fun. 

Playing in a corn box

We went to a cool pumpkin patch that also had a corn box and a pumpkin cannon and a story tale road to walk down. J LOVED playing in the corn box and didn't want to leave. Here he's trying to bury Drew in the corn. We had a great time. 

Robot

J kept asking me to help him build a robot. This was the farthest I got before it either fell over on it's own or J would knock it down.

We found a lady bug, and J enjoyed letting it crawl up and down his arm

Dirt Hole

We went on a walk to enjoy some sunshine and found this hole full of dirt for no apparent reason. J enjoyed playing in it for quite a while. 

Temple walk

 We ended up not having our normal game night with friends tonight, and J had been asking about the temple. We decided to take a fun (but cold and windy) walk around the temple tonight.

Pictures of Drew's homework was the only thing that got taken today. They've been doing some sort of graphs. 

Jumping

Stuck to the table

The book apparently got water spilled on it, and went unnoticed. When I got up this morning, I discovered that it was stuck to the table, well and truly. 

Triangles

J has loved having me set up triangles so that he can stomp on them and smash them flat.  We had a good time doing it for quite a while today.

Denim pile

While watching conference, I've started cutting up a bunch of pants that have all developed holes at the same time. I'm going to try making them into a rug.

Trying the costume at last.

We finally convinced J to try his costume today while we were watching General Conference. 

Armor for J

Drew has been making some armor for J, who has been reluctant to try it on. We put it on the cat tonight to try and convince him it was okay. It didn't work. All it did was concern him about the cat (and any other animal we tried to put it on)

Date night

We had a couple coupons for free frozen custard, so we dropped J off, went on a date and got some. It was nice to have a date night for the first time in a while.
