Blossoms

We wandered around campus today for a while, and enjoyed looking at the flowers and blossoms they have (as well as use all the automatic door openers in one of the buildings multiple times.)

Nature Park

We biked to the nature park today, and J had a blast looking at the ducks and wandering all over the trails. It was a lot of fun.

J found my batting today, and kept cuddling it. This was the best picture I could get...He's a super wiggly cuddler :)

I was forced to remember tonight just how horrible I am at this game :) but I had fun anyhow. 

Decluttered

I know it doesn't particularly look like it, but I de-cluttered the top of this bookshelf today. That was my one main accomplishment :) 

Traveling snowman

J brought the snowman with us to the park today.  He refused to leave the house without it.  Happily, he let it sit in the stroller while we were playing instead of trying to lug it around the playground.

Rice Crispy Urban Mech

Tomorrow is Drew's birthday, so we made some rice crispy treats for his cake... He decided to shape it into a mech.... of course.

Blossoms

The first blossoms I've seen this season! Hello spring, I'm so excited you are here!
(and yes, I know it's a funny blue color.... I forgot to change the lighting settings at the time, and couldn't tell it was a funny color because it was super sunny and bright out)

Today, while we were doing some baking, J insisted that we wear aprons. This was the only picture we got of him in his apron, and he's crying because he didn't want to stop to take a picture :)

Watching Daddy work

We went up to try and walk home with Drew after he was off work today. This was Drew's last project for the day...replace a couple of video cards in a computer. J LOVED being able to watch what Drew was doing, and of course, wanted to try and help out :)

It's been snowy the last couple days, so I've been wearing a hat as we go out and about (to the library and such) J apparently really likes this hat, because he kept wearing it around the house today. This was the best picture I got of him wearing it. 

Bubbles

We finished up our bubble solution today, J was pretty bummed about it. I made some new solution during naps, and we'll try it out tomorrow. 

Blanket!

Balloon party

 Drew found some balloons out in the free pile, and so we decided to blow them all up, and hang them from the ceiling during naps today. J love balloons, and adored the balloons hanging from the ceiling. He kept coming back to it again and again. He was a bit sad that the tape on the ceiling wasn't super sticky, so they kept coming off, but he loved it while it lasted. :)

Patches

We got some material to make patches for the blanket that we accidentally got holes in. I'm excited to be able to fix it!

J has been trying hard to start climbing just about everything at home. So, I was glad to be able to take him to the park today to let him figure out climbing on stuff meant for climbing... instead of a bookshelf :)

Talking on the phone

This morning, J picked up my phone and started to wander around talking on it. Apparently he's picked up that I talk on the phone while making dinner more than I thought :)

We've been cleaning out a closet that basically stores anything we don't want to deal with at the time (as well as cleaning out a few other places around the house). We've come up with quite the pile of stuff to get rid of. I'm excited to see it all go.

Rexburg Temple

J decided he didn't want to take a nap today, so we went for a nice relaxing walk to see if he would fall asleep on the way (he didn't). We went up to the temple to take a few pictures.

What a good April Fools joke on us, having a ward party at the park when it's freezing cold (why yes, J IS wearing a coat out there), and the wind is biting.
