It's been a hectic day, so I was thrilled when J seemed content enough to amuse himself while I was making dinner. I walked away for a minute to find some ingredient or something, and came back to find this... that's a box of sandwich bags all over the floor, in case you can't tell.

Running from Grandma

Mom was trying to take a picture of J while we were down visiting, and he absolutely wouldn't sit still for it. this is one of many pictures of him running right by :)

I set J down for just a few minutes before nap time, so I could run to the bathroom before putting him to sleep. came back out to get him and found this. poor little guy isn't feeling so great. lots of teeth coming in. 

Lounging.... kind of

He was lounging when we went to take the picture, he just happened to be sitting up when the picture took...

Super J

This was part of a Halloween costume given to us for his first Halloween. We decided to put it out and try it on again tonight, now that he can walk around. He seemed not even notice it was on, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him walk around in it.

On a rocking bike

Our family in town brought a rocking bike for J to try out. he seems to really enjoy it, and even figured out how to rock it some by himself!

Making friends

We had family in town, and went to visit other family up in Ashton to celebrate. They happen to have dogs, which J found absolutely facinating

Drying off

we went to the splash park today. it was a lot of fun, though the water was pretty cold. J enjoyed wrapping up in a towel once we were done.
