More Blossoms

Dante's Birthday

Besides celebrating Memorial Day this weekend, we also celebrated Dante's Birthday. It was a lot of fun, and nice to be home for at least a couple days.

Iris

Multiple

I couldn't decide which one to pick for today, so you get all of them. The last two are from celebrating Dante's birthday at the planitarium. the Second is some stuffed candy bars you could get in one of those quarter games, and the first one is some sport jelly belly jelly beans we found at walmart.

Baby Tomatoes

the tomato plant I got for mothers day has been doing great, despite the fact it had been looking about dead. I went to check on it's water when i got home from work to find a baby tomato on it. i was quite excited to make the discovery

Orienteering final

This was the final i was studying for. we had a practical part of the course, making sure we actually learned to orienteer. the problem with her course was that it didn't really test how well you could orienter. it tested how well you could guess where your point was supposed to be, as it was in the middle of construction.

Blossoms

I'm so glad its finally becoming warmer. The blossoms on the trees are finally coming out and everything is getting green again.

Studying

I have an orienteering final, based partially off this book. because i've been horrible and not read any of it this block, i get to read it all in a couple days. in prep for a test on thursday.

Pictures for Selling

after looking at all of our wedding gifts and other items we have, we realized we have some duplicates, and things we absolutely won't ever use, and others that although they look nice, or are a nice idea, we just don't have anywhere for them to go. because of that, we are having a sale through the school bulletin board. this is one of the items. it happens to be a duplicate. see other items here

Done!

After a few days of not doing dishes, we had quite a pile waiting to be finished. Today, the dishrack is empty, and the dishes are finished. this was the surprise that Drew came home to from taking a difficult Math test.

Bike Seat Cover

As we've been going farther and farther miles in my bike class (31.5 today), i've been quite grateful to have this.

Rice Cooker

We got this for our wedding. I absolutely love it, and we use it all the time. it cooks not only rice, but it steams vegetables at the same time.

Orbs in the clark

There are a lot of various orbs in a display case in the Clark. this is one of the more interesting ones. there will probably be more pictures of some of the others in the future.

Moon

This is probably the first picture of the moon i've taken that has turned out half decent. this was taken during our night orienteering trip. we got into water up to my crotch, and weeds almost as tall. good thing it was cold that night too.

Marker

We set up an orienteering course for class. This is about what half the course looked like. water up to our knees and if you look close, can you see the dead crow?

empty

This started out today half full of cookie dough. i some how ended up eating the whole thing, and ended up regretting it later.

couch

we cleared out our storage room some (most of it is now sitting in a closet... it will be moved eventually... drew doesn't know it though), and were able to rearrange it into more of a study/family room/theatre room. we brought our couch in here, this time, its in a slightly different shape

what the heck is it?

I found this on its back on the track (i had some time before class, so was riding my bike around the track to gain some miles). i flipped it over, and let it be on its merry way. i later found out it was on its back for a reason, trying to call another one to it. I still wish i knew what it was. i was going to guess a leaf bug, but i don't think they look like that, and i don't think they populate rexburg idaho. perhaps a distant cousin of the cidada? anyone have an idea?

Daffodils

I'm so excited that the daffodils here in rexburg are finally up and blooming. i've been waiting a long time it to be warm enough for things to grow again

Cloth

I ran to walmart today to get some cloth for my next sewing project. a pair of pajama pants.

Major Change Application

I'm in the works of changing majors. after getting married, and looking at the 700 hours left of internship i have to do, i'm realizing that its nigh impossible, now that i am married. long hours away from home, while trying to support drew in his school, and needing to find something that will help provide for us, an internship isn't going to do it. its time for a change. Underwater basket weaving, here i come.

Gloves

I wanted these for class today, as i knew we would be out in the rain all afternoon (after all, orienteering happens rain or shine). i didn't find them until after i had come home, dried off, and changed coats to run to the store.

Mother's day plant

for mothers day, our ward gave each couple a tomato plant. i'm super excited for this plant. we had to put it in the window at the end of our hall, since our apartment doesn't get any sunlight.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've been craving these for a couple weeks. after taking a nutrition test and not doing as well as i would have liked, i came home and made these. they were delicious, if a bit flat

Chair

this is in the Interior Design section of campus. I've passed by it a few times on the way to class, and every time i do, i think of dad.
