Memorial

Madison county (basically Rexburg) has been celebrating their 100 years of being a county.  They put in this memorial a while ago to celebrate, but I had never been able to go and look at it, until today. 

mirrors!

We've been (or at least I've been) wanting to get some mirrors for our house for a while. We got two nice vertical ones for in the bedroom (i can actually see what my whole self looks like, before leaving the house, and trying to catch a reflection in the business windows downstairs!), and some smaller ones to put around the apartment. it was a great find! i'm super excited about it, and J (even though it doesn't show it here) really likes them too. he likes to smile and wiggle at that baby in the mirror.

In making Christmas lists for my parents, Drew said he wanted/needed more socks, just like the ones he had. in order to facilitate family knowing that, we decided a picture would be the best way to convey it all, as well as a description with the list.  unfortunately, it's the only picture i took today.

we have no real mirrors in our apartment (a small vanity mirror above the bathroom sink is all we have) but J loves to look at larger mirrors (small ones he has no interest in, I don't think he can see enough to have an interest). today I decided to pull out the web cam and see what he thought of that. he seemed to have fun with it, as well as take a quick family picture that my parents wanted.
