homework time

Yep, it's Halloween, so you'd expect some Halloween pictures. but no. I totally forgot to take any pictures of us in our costumes (not that you could really tell drew or I were dressed up, but J was cute....) What I did take pictures of was Drew's homework that he left home and had to duplicate. this is just one of the six pictures.

Indian Summer

 J LOVED being able to take some time outside and just look at all the pretty yellow leaves up above. He contentedly just laid on the blanket kicking around and looking at the leaves for about an hour. This from the kid who will normally start to get upset after about 15 minutes if I'm not playing with him while at home.

I know this picture doesn't show it, but J loves to "fly" around on my knees, while i'm laying on my back.  it gives me a great workout too :)

this was how we walked to and from the store this morning. I'm fairly certain we looked ridiculous. several people gave us weird looks as we were walking down the street.

Sitting up like a big boy

J has taken to LOVING to sit propped up in a corner of the couch (or on the bed... or even sometimes on a lap...)i think he likes the new perspective.
