overflowing

I experimented today with making an angel food cake (Happy birthday to Drew!). I've never had it in my life before today, certainly never made it, and had no idea just how big of an "extra big" mixing bowl I would really need. The box (yep, this cake came from a box) said to beat it for a minute 30, this was after about 10-20 seconds.... I don't think I beat it for even a whole minute before calling it good. It turned out tasty though. It reminded me vaguely of cotton candy in cake form.
