Pluot

when we went to the store yesterday, we found some of these on sale for a good deal.  we had never tried them, so we got a few and took them home.  a combination apricot plum.  first off, the name is impossible, and should be changed to soemthing that tells you more what it is (we decided we like the name Aprilum).  second, we decided they taste much better cold.  they have the texture of a plum, but taste a lot like an apricot (or, some of them were a bit more plumy than others)

overall, pretty good.  i would get them again (and might if they are still on sale :) )
